ASKA L2 Mahogany Pool Cue – 58" Canadian Hard Rock Maple, 13mm Leather Tip, Black Nylon Wrap – L2MAH
A personal cue in Mahogany — deep reddish-brown finish, the same Canadian hard rock maple shaft and construction as the full L2 series, in a single cue you choose by weight. Select 18, 19, 20, or 21oz above. The signature 10mm maple ring at the butt end adds the finished L2 look.
Choose Your Weight
- 18oz — Better Control: finesse shots, position play, spin and English. Lighter feel in hand.
- 19oz — Balanced Feel: the most popular recreational weight. Good all-around choice if you're not sure where to start.
- 20oz — Strong Hit: more momentum on breaks and long shots. Noticeably heavier stroke.
- 21oz — Powerful Break: maximum force transfer on the opening break. Some players keep a 21oz specifically for breaking.

The 10mm Maple Ring — L2 Series Signature Detail
At the base of the cue, just above the white butt cap, sits a 10mm ring of natural maple wood. Made from the same Canadian hard rock maple as the shaft — the natural wood grain contrasts warmly against the Mahogany forestock, giving the cue a clean, finished look from tip to butt.
Who This Cue Is For
- Players who want their own cue rather than sharing a house set at a bar or game room
- Regulars at a home table who play often enough to justify a dedicated cue at a specific weight

Table Compatibility
- ✅ Any standard 7, 8, or 9-foot pool table

- ❌ Tight spaces may require a shorter cue — ASKA short cues are available in 36", 42", 48", and 52"
Frequently Asked Questions
Which weight should I choose?
19oz is the most common starting point — balanced feel, widely used, comfortable for most players. If you play a lot of break shots and want more power, consider 20oz or 21oz. If you focus on finesse, spin, and position play, 18oz gives more feedback.
What is the maple ring at the bottom of the cue?
The 10mm maple ring is a natural wood accent at the butt end, just above the white butt cap. It's a signature design detail of the L2 and L3 cue series — made from the same hard rock maple as the shaft.
What does Mahogany look like?
Mahogany is a deep, warm reddish-brown — the classic color of mahogany wood. It pairs naturally with dark wood tables, leather seating, and traditional billiard room interiors.
Is this a full cue or just a shaft?
This is a complete 2-piece cue — shaft and butt included. Screws together via the 5/16×18 joint, no tools required.
How long will the tip last?
With regular use, a hard glued-on tip typically lasts 1–2 years. Re-tipping is a standard billiard shop service and inexpensive when needed.
I want more than one cue — is there a set?
Yes — ASKA L2 cue sets are available from 2 to 10 cues with mixed weights and colors in one purchase.
