Weight Bolt (Thread Type: M1/12*13)
Weight bolt designed to fit most current Viking and Valhalla pool cues using a M1/12*13 thread. The range of weights allows precise adjustment of cue balance and overall weight to match individual playing preferences.
Each bolt is precision-machined to ensure consistent fit and smooth installation. Before purchase, please verify that your cue butt has sufficient internal depth to accommodate the selected bolt length.
| Ounces (oz) | Grams (g) | Millimeters (mm) | Inches (in) |
| 0.5 oz | ~14.2 g | 20.5 mm | ~0.81 in |
| 1.0 oz | ~28.3 g | 38.5 mm | ~1.52 in |
| 1.5 oz | ~42.5 g | 57.15 mm | ~2.25 in |
| 2.0 oz | ~56.7 g | 76.2 mm | ~3.0 in |
| 2.5 oz | ~70.9 g | 93 mm | ~3.66 in |
| 3.0 oz | ~85.0 g | 111 mm | ~4.37 in |
| 3.5 oz | ~99.2 g | 130 mm | ~5.12 in |
Important fit note: Most manufacturers thread the internal cavity to accommodate a 3.5 oz maximum, which is why this bolt is offered up to 3.5 oz. Before purchasing, ensure there is enough clearance for both the length of the bolt and the butt cap insert.
Key Considerations
- Depth check: Use a thin rod or pipe cleaner to measure the available cavity depth to see if it can handle the extra length.
- Insert clearance: Remember that the butt cap insert occupies physical space at the end of the cavity - the bolt needs to sit completely flush behind it.
- Balance shift: Large weight increases move the balance point significantly toward the back, which can make the front of the cue feel light.
- Installation: A hex bit and bit extender are required. If you don't have them, the 7-piece set includes both plus a storage box.
- Fits most Viking and Valhalla cue sticks
- Thread type: M1/12*13
