Aska Billiards has been an authorized Lucasi dealer in Canada since 1999. Lucasi sits where value meets technology: low-deflection shafts and Uni-Loc joints well below the custom-cue tier, which is why it is the most common step up from a first cue.

The lines

Lucasi Custom (LZC, LZE) — birdseye maple, rosewood, zebrawood and mother-of-pearl inlays, with Irish linen or wrapless handles.

Lucasi Hybrid — the technology line: Zero Flex and CF InFUZED 10-splice low-deflection shafts, plus the Air Hog jump cue with its Fusion G5 grip and bakelite tip.

Art Deco (LCAD) — the showpiece cues: rose gold, silver and malachite inlays, at the top of the range.

LUX and Pinnacle cover the middle of the line, and the Pro OD Series comes from the Oscar Dominguez collaboration.

What you are paying for

Nearly every Lucasi cue uses a 12.75 mm tip and a Uni-Loc quick-release joint — a quarter turn to assemble, and the same alignment every time you put the cue together. The 10-splice low-deflection shafts are the real reason players move up to Lucasi: less cue-ball squirt means english you can actually aim, rather than compensate for.

Shafts are sold separately too, so a Lucasi shaft can go onto a cue you already own, provided the joints match.
