For over 35 years The Adam Cue Company has been making the finest cues in the World. Year after year, we have given the billiard industry the best quality cue stick at a reasonable price. It’s been noted that years of experience and craftsmanship are apparent in every cue we manufacture. The attention to detail and the quality of the materials have always been foremost in our requirements. David Forman started this company with just a few inexpensive models that he had made in his own factory in Japan. He would go visit certain cities, when he arrived; he would go to the closest phone booth and tear out the billiard dealers in that area so that he could visit them within the days to come. His wit, charm, and aura made all the dealers feel comfortable in placing orders as they did. In 1968, David Forman met Richard Helmstetter at a trade show. Mr. Helmstetter was already a talented cue maker. After meeting Richard, Mr. Forman was very impressed with his knowledge of wood and his love of cue making. In October, 1969, the two reached an agreement that Richard Helmstetter would move to Japan and run the Adam factory. Many years have gone by. Mr. Helmstetter has updated and taught the factory every precise factor in making the quality cues that he is famous for. The Adam Cue Company is the only manufacturer and distributor of the Adam , Balabushka and Helmstetter Cue lines. Please be aware that any Adam , Balabushka and Helmstetter cues not purchased through the Adam Cue Company is not an authentic and licensed product. It is an unauthorized copy of inferior quality and is liable to copyright and trademark infringement which is punishable by federal law.
